Ipsy December 2013

Wow! I can't believe I have finally caught up on the beauty bags. I first started with Birchbox and Glam Bags (now Ipsy) and then at some point, I eventually ended my subscription to Birchbox. I know there are so many different kinds of beauty, health and pet (!) subscriptions to try out and I would hopefully like to research a little more to branch out and try these other monthly subscriptions. 

In the meantime, here is this month's Ipsy beauty bag for December. The theme for the month is "Celebration", and my bag contained items to sparkle and shine in dramatic fashion to carry you through Christmas and the New  Year.

Ipsy November 2013

The Ipsy beauty bag for November was themed "Glam It Up". On appearance alone, the first sight of the metallic gold textured bag indicated that the contents would be shimmery, metallic and bold (lip crayon).

The Ipsy beauty bag for October was themed "The Art of Beauty". I'm not fond of the cosmetic bag and I can't remember the last time I used hair gel for me to even attempt to sample the one I received.

The Ipsy Glam Bag for September was themed "Classic Beauty", and was appropriately named so. The items in the bag are all that you need to create such classic looks and they have you covered from pampered skin, eyes to lips.

The Ipsy Glam Bag for July was themed "Beach Beauty". The transparent (and slightly tacky?) pink neon bag was filled with fun and bright goodies to prepare you for the summer.

The June Ipsy Glam Bag was themed "On the Wild Side". Though I wasn't really a fan of the leopard print bag with the neon zipper (this is probably my least favorite bag), I did like the variety of products for the June bag.

Ipsy May 2013

The theme for the May Ipsy beauty bag was "Spring Fling" and was an improvement to last month's disappointing beauty bag. The only thing I wasn't really interested in was the Juice Beauty lipgloss shade, which was practically no shade at all! I definitely prefer more color in my lipgloss. 

Some other lucky subscribers received a full size Urban Decay eyeshadow and a Pacifica Roll On Perfume (and many other optional products personally customized) which in my opinion, would have really made this bag grade A for the month, but overall I am pleased with the May bag.
